Now as I said before I’ve been blessed, (you know) I’ve had a unique upbringing but I’ve been blessed in the last 8 to 10 years to be on a path with some people that are at the top of their game who have been teaching me. So in now, my full understanding of all this, I am here to pass this knowledge on to you so that you can see the changes because dude I went from negative to positive and it fucking feels good and I’m not talking no religious, I’m not gonna disrespect that but I’m not talking like an AMEN moment where the light hit me. I’m talking hard work to come from a life of (you know) sheer greed and all about self to now becoming in a life of acceptance and selflessness so if that can help you, I am here for you.
This is what this is all about. I wanna give back because you know I grinded out in the music scene, I grinded out on the entrepreneur scene where (you know) which is where I make money too, you know we all gotta put the roof overhead and keep them wolves from the door. And yes, you know how it is. So I’m here for ya’ll. I want you to interact with me, I wanna be able to answer any questions you have. So again hit that website. I wanna talk briefly today about a conversation I had with a fellow patron who I’ve been kinda helping for about 3 years now and I noticed this repetitive cycle and I think it’s a human trade. If things are bad, it’s when you need to change, if things are pretty good, so I’m gonna fall back into my old habit to then come around for the cycle and be like ‘Ohh my God, I’m in pain, I need to change to, it feels good ohh my God, I’m falling back to my old habit’. You know what I mean? That hamster wheel, that rat race. This is all based on diet and (you know), weight gain, weight loss, feeling sluggish and the simplest of the fact is this, I believe in a few things like for myself, (you know) there is motivation and I think motivation is so far being let’s say you wanna go to a wedding in 3 weeks or you got a vacation to go and you wanna look shredded or you wanna lose some weight or you have a party to go to where you wanna impress somebody (you know) not too far off in the far distance future so you can put in that short amount of time and get some type of result and then kinda go back to old ways right?
We’ve all been guilty of it but I wanna talk to you about stone cold determination and focus. So you take that motivation and what you need from that motivation now is the mindset and this is where I’m talking to you on the awareness that I have of studying the mind now through soto zen for like 8 to 10 years and I’m telling you it is an amazing tool but you have to control it, don’t let it control you. So having said that, the conversation I had (you know) it’s just been a cycle for the last 2, 3 years. This is based on diet, this conversation that we’re having and (you know) their stomach starts to hurt and this person gains weight and then (you know) we get them on and the fast focus and boom they hit it and (you know) this time on summer came and has been indulgence in food and liquor and boom right back to the same square one like we never started (you know what I mean) and it’s because there is a thing, there’s that motivation ‘boom Ok, I feel bad, I need to change’ but there is 2 factors here. When you younger, so let’s say you’re late teens, early twenties all the way to your mid-twenties to early thirties to mid-thirties depending on your (you know) genetic code in your metabolism, you gonna be able to bounce back because we have youth on our side (right?) and that’s a beautiful thing. Having said that, the older we get if we don’t start making changes through mindset and determination not just motivation, this is gonna become chronic and then from chronic we get disease.
Now I don’t wanna get in and talk about that on this episode. That’s cool. We’re just gonna talk about mind set and how you need your mind set to be a stone cold focus on empowering yourself and bettering yourself. And the one thing that we can fucking foremost control is with the fuck with our own guts. If you listening to this podcast, that means you’re somewhat educated and by no means trying to tell you I’m a super educated person but I can read and I have the know how to make decisions from wrong from right (you know), so (you know) going in, gulping down, (you know,) some energy drink and a Burger from a gas station (you know) I know that’s not good for my body.
