Why I think Meditation is the Future and Answer #IYP ‘Longevity’
Meditation is the future! Why because we need to go inside to make our outside our reality and this happens through Meditation !
I always want to start off by saying; I thank you, appreciate you and your time-because you could be doing anything in the world but you chose to be vibin with me!! Blessed for REAL!!
So let’s be honest the world we sit in today…so they say is all kinda crazy. There is so-so-so much noise out there that it is very tough to navigate through what is actually real and happening and what is being pushed out as an agenda to promote fear and insecurity so we stay in our lane so to speak, so we live in this fear based system of not enough and someone or something is out to get me. Interesting thought, it may resonate with you it may not but either way just sit with the statement and truly see how it feels…maybe watch the news and actually analyze it.
If we take a look at the people of the world in general and I mean from all walks of life and all backgrounds…almost all of us have overcome something to get somewhere. We can talk about athletes and the major physical obstacles and training they have to endure and overcome, we can talk about the war veterans who have been in situations most of us would never want to be in and they over came and survived, we can speak about any class or race of people who came from nothing, were given nothing and made it to the top…and we can go on and on with examples- correct. What do all these people have in common or claim was the contributing factor in their survival or success…mindset, a strong mind, a never give up mentality, the want to fulfil their lifes purpose -to live.
How the phuck does meditation fit in with that blurb of words you ask? Simple those people all had to dig phucking deep, they had to go to place’s inside themselve’s that most of us never ever want to go to or never want to put in the time or work to get to. This is why I think MEDITATION is the answer, and this is why I also think MEDITATION is the wave of the future.
If we do not stand for something we will fall for anything
That statement sum’s it all up for me…if we do not know ourself, if we do not understand why we are here, if we do not know our own goals, dreams, aspiration, if we do not ever meet our higher self or know our higher purpose…then we are destine to fall for anything. That anything can come in any form from a poor job choice (just for the money and or security) a poor relationship choice (just so we have someone instead of being alone) a poor diet choice (over indulgence of the wrong foods to mask our unhappiness) these are just a few example’s and as always we can add anything and everything to that list, all these factor’s are because we do not know ourself or what the phuck we want. So what do we do- we trade that freedom in, give away our power, shed ourself of our own life’s responsibility, and place everything of matter on someone else so we can then lay blame not on ourself…because it not our fault if we are ignorant to the fact’s!!
Meditation is how we cut through the noise, we get a few seconds to drown out all the bullshit drama going on around us to experience actual reality all be it if only for minute’s…but guess what those minute’s give us perspective and that perspective allows for growth knowledge and understanding. I will say this anyone claiming it will get you to stop thinking is full of shit! The mind is always going to do what the mind was created for- to look for danger and solve problem’s. After enough practice what you learn is to be present in the pause’s of life, to be present in the moment’s and by this I mean not thinking of the past or future (regret and fear in other words) and then what happen’s is we are slowly able to learn how to use our mind as a tool instead of it using us as the tool. We begin to know our true self -we can then determine how we want to experience our life by our mindet, we have a much calmer demeanour and are less reactive to emotion’s that are always taunted in our day to day life. (Those emotion’s are always tied into a past event which then distorts the present reality)
It truly is a thing of beauty and it truly has changed my life from negative (and seeing everything as a negative) to positive, humbleness and gratitude. I feel blessed to have been studying this mindfulness practice for the past 8 years and know how it can help us all 1 by 1…
